Mrs. Myra Emerson was a volunteer Girl Scout leader and a church member when I was a young adult in the sixties.

She has selflessly provided the energy, enthusiasm and grand plan for the community food pantry and weekly lunch servings, she does the COOKING.

She is a people person and her volunteer regimen requires that she spend lengthy hours away from her home.

She sets up a quilting group whenever there is a national disaster and they have shipped multiple completed quilts to needy persons, communities.
