Linda started volunteering with NNADV upon responding to a volunteer recruitment ad in the newspaper about 7 years ago. Since then, she has been volunteering with us. Linda helps with our resource inventory, collating and bundling publications, material shipment and compiling our newspaper clippings. In addition to volunteering with NNADV, she also volunteers at the Food Bank of Northern Nevada helping with the food drive and doing home deliveries. Linda enjoys volunteering because she says, it is her way of contributing and making a difference in the community. She says that volunteering also benefit herself by being productive as a senior and getting that rewarding feeling by being able to help others. NNADV appreciates Linda for her service and dedication through the years!
