In addition to volunteering for Kindness, Inc. and the Chamber of Commerce, Lee volunteers for the Twin Lakes Literacy Council, Advocates for the Elderly, Twin Lakes Choral Society and other local non-profit organizations.
Lee was taught from early childhood that it is important to give back to one's community, and she has done that - far beyond the call of duty!
She has devoted her life to giving back in many ways by volunteering in our community. Even her answering voice message reveals her passion for volunteering.
Lee's volunteer activities include but are not limited to driving people to various appointments, running errands for elderly/disabled individuals, serving on several local boards, clerical and secretarial functions
Recently Lee accepted an invitation to attend the Silver Sneakers Legislative Session in our state capital and reported to Advocates for the Elderly and others what she had learned.
Lee Carlson is certainly the epitome of a volunteer and a perfect role model. She does everything with a burst of energy and enthusiasm that is very contagious. She is truly a compassionate volunteer.
