Jan is my Mom and she is still very active for her age. She joined the local Church and the senior center. She now teaches exercise classes at the center and she even will go to peoples home who cannot get out due to age, weight etc and work with them personally on a one on one basis.

At the Church she leads womens bible studies but she goes out to shut ins and delivers meals also.

She also still drives and she takes many seniors on small day trips like to the Brown County playhouse etc to keep getting them out.

On Christmas there was an elderly neighor with no family around and she picked her up and brought her to my house so she would not be alone.

Mom deserves to be recognized for all the volunteer work she does. She does not do it for recognition so I hope she does not get mad at me for this. I am PROUD of her!!

Is this you? If you were nominated by someone else and do not wish to take part in this contest, opt out here.
