Prize Details

A true attitude of giving and volunteerism seeks nothing in return. Yet seniors committed to service reap an abundance of rewards in the form of fulfilling social connections, health benefits and a sense of purpose, to name a few.

The Salute to Senior Service℠ Contest offers the opportunity for nominated senior volunteers across the U.S. to receive two additional much-deserved rewards: recognition and support for their continued community service.

Grand Prize Winner

The National Winner will be honored in person at a national recognition ceremony. Home Instead, Inc., franchisor of the Home Instead Senior Care® network, will make a $5,000 donation to the winner’s designated non-profit charity of choice to support continued community service.

State Winners

One outstanding senior volunteer nominee from each state will be selected to receive a $500 donation to his or her non-profit charity of choice, courtesy of Home Instead, Inc.

All Winners

All senior volunteer winners will receive a certificate in recognition of their outstanding volunteer efforts and will be featured on the Wall of Fame here at SaluteToSeniorService.com.
