The first letter of each word above spells out the name of our outstanding nominee with each word describing how we see her.

Judy Minster started her volunteerism in the Carlinville community in 2001 with the Carlinville Area Hospital Auxiliary. She is always JOYFUL and never seems to complain. She is UNDERSTANDING of the importance of volunteerism and is DEDICATED to Carlinville Area Hospital and Auxiliary and its missions.

Judy is very YOUNG at heart which explains why she chose to begin her volunteerism as the blood drive coordinator where she recruited and organized volunteers, scheduled donor appointments, and ensured the drive was a success in order to keep blood local. After much success with the blood drive, she became membership chair as well as treasurer for the Auxiliary. She promotes and helps facilitate every fundraiser the Auxiliary hosts because she believes in the importance of it. Her philanthropic behavior displays MEANINGFUL and INSPIRATIONAL values to others in the community. She regularly volunteers in the hospital gift shop and volunteers as a greeter and escort. Her NICE, pleasant, and always SINCERE attitude impacts the employees, patients, visitors and other members. She is always willing to fill vacancies on the volunteer schedule and is constantly putting the Hospital and Auxiliary at the top of her priority list. She is a true TREASURE who thoroughly enjoys just helping others. She displays EXCELLENT behavior standards and is extremely RELIABLE. Judy is already a winner in our eyes and we are extremely lucky that she has chosen us to donate her time to.
