My mom retired as full-time teacher in 2000, but hasn't stopped making an impact in her community.

She has always had a passion for dental health - the daughter of a dentist and a dental hygienist herself, she was an instrumental advocate for the creation of the Clinton County Community Dental Clinic. When she heard the idea, she jumped at the chance to help and even learned how to write grants.
Today, my mom continues to help the Clinic by serving on their board and always helping at the front desk, or wherever she is needed.
My mom is also a vital part of bringing live theater to Clinton County. She works tirelessly to help Millbrook Playhouse continue to be a success each summer and continue to thrive.

She is on the Volunteer Executive Board and serves as Secretary. She organizes fundraising events throughout the year and helps determine the artistic direction of each season. She is known to go above and beyond and help the actors who make Central Pennsylvania their home each summer. She prepares their meals, welcomes them to stay in her home and is even known to teach her guests mahjong from time to time.

When she isn't helping with Millbrook Playhouse, you can find her volunteering at the Clinton County Community Dental Clinic. She was instrumental in the creation of the Clinic and continues to serve on their Board. She is always a friendly face when she volunteers at the front desk, helps with administrative tasks or even when she promotes the Clinic on the local radio show.
