Dora Archer is always thinking of others. she has been living in Providence Horizon House for 6 years and has been "doing for others" all she can do every day! She visits the lonely, she encourages others to get involved in the activities that are offered. She is always willing to help anyone. she lives the Golden Rule.

Dora, you are a marvel. Dora's amazing creative talent with art projects, and her organizational skills are to be admired. Dora calls the basket on the walker she uses "her desk"...and everything she needs is neatly filed for quick reference. And in that "desk" are ideas, notes, and the tools that have made her an amazing and involved volunteer and resident. I am so pleased that Dora was chosen for this honor. No better representative for senior service to other seniors can be found. Congratulations Dora, and your side-kick, Mattie!
