Audrey became a hospice volunteer because of the impact her Mother's hospice volunteer had on her. There is nothing that Audrey won't gladly do for our organization. Audrey mailnly volunteers at our NEPA office keeping accurate records for the volunteer coordinator as well as helping out with every imaginable clerical duty. Recently our Bereavement Coordinator needed to take a medical leave. Audrey has volunteered to keep track of all the viewings and funerals and calls various members of our team asking them to represent the company. She also attends many viewing herself! When she isn't volunteering for us (almost full time), she is also extremely active in her church and is the President of the local Salvation Army's ladies auxiliary. Audrey was awarded NEPA's Voluntary Action's Center volunteer of the year in 2013 recognizing her outstanding volunteer service. When asked why she volunteers so many hours she replies that her Mother instilled in her the rewards of volunteering. Like Mother - like daughter!
